The Arts & Industry Estate in Byron Bay, Australia is the place we’ve chosen to establish our second home, Pampa’s concept store and design studio. Luckily enough, they both fit under the same roof. This space is a dream come true for us and we’re so happy to give you a peek inside!
Our concept store has a loft-style design, with the design studio located up on the mezzanine level. When we thought about the aesthetic and design of the studio, we always imagined soft light, clean lines and custom-built furniture to showcase the colours and textures of our wool samples. Of course added some greenery with a few of our favourite cacti!
As I’m sure many of you know, having your own business that you consider your baby (as we do!) means spending long hours hard at it. We really wanted to create a big, open space to work in, to help us feel energised and creative. In our studio, we like to surround ourselves with the things we love: textiles and rugs, totems from our travels, goods books and tunes—and of course, our amazing team, including our dog Poncho (@our_poncho).
In the studio, we not only design all our collections and work on our fine art prints, but we also use the space to host clients. Since we opened the studio for visitors to join us in designing a custom Pampa rug, this service has been a crazy hit! People from all over the world are getting creative with us and designing their own rugs. The best thing is, this service is free! (Yes, that’s right—no extra charge!).
We warmly welcome you to visit our concept store and studio next time you’re in the area. To learn more about our custom design service, click here https://pampa.com.au/pages/design-your-rug or email us at help@pampa.com.au
So you can get a feel for the vibe inside the Pampa studio, I wanted to share one of my favourites albums of all time—”Ronco” by Gustavo Santaolalla. We listen to this one almost every week.
