You know what they say – good things come in small packages! That’s certainly the case with our new Pampa Mini Rugs. We’ve been inspired by traditional designs, earthy colours and natural fibres you’ve come to love about Pampa textiles and distilled them into a smaller, 90cm x 60cm size. You can now purchase as a pair or a single Mini rug.
Our Mini Rugs are made using an intricate kilim technique. The colours and patterns we’ve chosen reflect our favourite motifs from across Pampa’s textile collections – some of which you may recognise. To make our Mini Rugs, we’ve called on a group of talented women who aren’t able to weave bigger rugs because they are older in age. When we first presented the idea of Mini Rugs to them, they jumped at the opportunity to keep practicing the art they love so much, stay close to their looms and play an active role in preserving their local heritage and traditions.
There are so many ways to style Pampa Mini Rugs – as his and hers bedside rugs, or for kids’ rooms. If you love Pampa rugs but aren’t ready to commit to a large piece, you’ll find our Mini Rugs are a perfect size for styling smaller living spaces. You can even hang our Mini Rugs as beautiful wall features.
Just like our regular-sized rugs and textiles, Pampa Mini Rugs are sourced for fair prices from artisans in remote parts of Argentina. Every purchase helps to preserve the woven heritage of the Monte and create a sustainable income for women weavers, their families and communities.
